Set in the beautiful grounds of Nottinghamshire Clumber Park, Wartime Clumber takes you back to the days of the Second World War on 23rd and 24th June 2012. Historical re-enactors display the living history of the 1940’s with the Home Guard, Paratroops preparing for D Day, a working replica Mark 8 “Cockleshell” motorised Canoe, Dancing and Singing plus vehicles from the time and entertainment with Punch versus Mr Hitler.

Once again Clumber Park in Nottinghamshire goes back to the

days of World War Two. Witness the sights and sounds of the darkest days of the 1940’s which emerged into final victory. The Home Front with National Fire Service, ARP, medical support and the WRVS. Preparation to carry the fight to the enemy with Paratroops, the Mark 8 Cockleshell canoe and the medical services and infantry form the Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire areas. Enjoy the entertainment with singing and dancing of the 1940,s set on the lawn of Clumber Park.
