Washing Day:

What do you photograph when you go to Venice that is not the usual superb scenery? On our day in Burano we noticed that it was washing day. Unlike the private gardens and tumble dryers in the UK the lack of space on the Venetian islands means that washing is hung out to dry in front of houses and apartments or between properties across the narrow Calles which link the canals with the piazzas.
