In Celebration of Royal Sherwood June 3rd to 5th 2012

in Sherwood Forest. Wood smoke will drift on the breeze from cooking fires, and the clash of steel on steel will ring through the trees as armoured Noman knights practice combat and demonstrate their prowess with their weaponry. Enjoy impressive displays of the fearsome English longbow, various skills-at-arms, and the new-fangled but ultimately deadly gunpowder hand guns and cannon.
